DAIDISIKE M3/M4/M5 laser diffuse reflection sensor — overview

The sensor emits a 650 nm red laser; the target diffusely reflects light back to the integrated receiver. The sensor outputs (NPN / PNP, NO / NC) when reflected intensity exceeds threshold. Depending on model and surface reflectivity, detection ranges span 5 – 50 mm up to 20 – 200 mm, with 1 ms response and 500 Hz switching frequency. Hysteresis < 15 % (Sr) stabilizes output. IP67 rating ensures robust operation in industrial environments.
